Our campus covers a city block in historic downtown Staunton. Your visit will begin at the Wilson Visitors Center & Shop located at 230 E. Frederick St. Our free parking lot is adjacent to the building.

The entrance to our parking lot is on E. Frederick Street, a one-way street. When you turn onto Frederick Street, you will want to stay in the left lane, and the entrance to the parking lot will be your first left. Please refer to the campus map below if you have any questions.

PARKING and ACCESSIBILITY

Free parking is behind the campus, with the parking lot entrance on East Frederick Street. Additional parking is available in an adjacent parking lot (with meters) owned by the City of Staunton.  You may also park on the surrounding streets if marked as two-hour parking.  Your visit will begin at the President's Shop (adjacent to the parking lot) where you will purchase your tickets.

We have two handicap-accessible parking spots that are directly behind the museum. To access these spots, please enter the driveway beside the Museum. The handicapped parking spots are just behind the Museum on the left. Please see the above campus map for further details.

Bus Parking is available in the designated spots in front of the Museum going south on Coalter Street.  We are located in the Historic District of downtown Staunton, with narrow roads and several one-way streets. Buses and RVs should proceed with caution through Staunton to prevent damage to buildings and road structures. Due to size constraints, buses cannot drive through or park in our parking lot off East Frederick Street.
