Robin Wilson von Seldeneck is the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Woodrow Wilson Presidential Library. A passionate history buff, Robin first volunteered at the then Woodrow Wilson Birthplace Foundation as a college student in 1990 when the Museum was being prepared to open for the first time. Prior to being named CEO, Robin held a number of positions within the WWPL, including Vice-President and Chief Operating Officer. Previously, she worked in administration at Stuart Hall School, James Madison University, and Mary Baldwin College. She also taught at Blue Ridge Community College and owned an educational consulting firm.   

Robin grew up on a dairy farm near Lewisburg, West Virginia. She received her BA in history and political science from Mary Baldwin College and a Master’s in Public Administration from James Madison University.   

Robin resides in Staunton with her husband Eric. Robin has served on numerous organizational boards, including the Board of Directors for the Virginia Association of Museums, the Mary Baldwin University Advisory Board of Visitors, First Bank Advisory board, the Shenandoah Valley Kiwanis Club, and the Augusta Garden Club board. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, reading, and cheering on JMU athletics.
